• Dr. David F Orton

  
  

  Dr. David Orton graduated from the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. After practicing in the Atlanta area, He moved to Dahlonega and opened Chestatee Animal Hospital in December 2005.  Dr. Orton is married   to Maggie Payne and are the proud parents of two young sons.  Maggie Payne is co-owner and the Pediatic Nurse Practitioner of Dahlonega Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Orton enjoys soccer, scuba diving, and stamp coin collecting. His loved pets consist of 1 dog, 2 cats  and a 11 year old cockatiel named Koulie.

• Dr. Heather Tarpley

  
  

  Dr. Heather Tarpley joined Chestatee Animal Hospitals staff in May 2007. She received her undergraduate degree at Davidson College. At the University of Georgia she earned her DVM and completed residency training in veterinary clinical pathology in which she is certified. Dr.Tarpley is a classemate of Dr.Orton and Dr.Babcock. She enjoys practicing veterinary medicine and has special interests in wound management and medicine cases.

• Judy Bierbower

  
  

  Judy Bierbower was born in Wisconsin and lived in Iowa for many years.  She moved to Dahlonega in 1985, and began her Veterinary career.  She previously worked in human medicine.   Judy joined Chestatee Animal Hospital in October 2005, bringing with her 19 years of experience in  Veterinary Business management.  Judy is married and has 3 daughters Jamie, Jessica, and Roseanne.  She is a proud grandmother of 1 granddaughter Maddie, 3 grandsons Cole and Cade and Levi.  Her interests are riding with her husband Dave on their HD motorcycle, camping, gardening,and in-line skating.  Judy  loves her pets and has 1 dog,  several cats, and a Koi fish pond.

• Ms. Rachel Gary

  
  

  Rachel Gary was born in Florida and moved to Georgia in 2004. She has worked as an Animal Health Technician for 8 years and joined Chestatee Animal Hospital in April 2005. Rachel and her husband Mark lives in the Cleveland area. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and loves to shop! Her loving pets consist of 1 dog and 2 cats.

• Mr. Lynn Davis

  
  

  Lynn was born in Florida, and lived in the Southwest before  moving to Georgia. He has lived north of Suches since the early 90's. Lynn is a Certified Veterinary Techician with over 14 years of experience, he joined Chestatee Animal Hospital in November 2005. He is currently working towards his State Licenses for wildlife Rehabilitation and building a web resource to help people help wildlife. Lynns love for nature inspires his hobbies of hiking, kayaking, gardening, and photography.

• Angela Irvin

  
  

  Angela Irvin is a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County.  She joined Chestatee Animal Hospital in August 2006, with 6 years experience as an Animal Health Technician.  Anglea and her husband Robbie are proud parents of their son "Isaac.  Who was born November 16, 2006. Their furry family consists of 2 dogs, 4 cats and their hard shelled friend "Edgar" the turtle.  She enjoys spending time with her family, shopping and loves her coffee.

• Ms. Deanna Mills

  
  

  Deanna Mills was raised in Tennessee and moved to Georgia in 1999.  She has been working in Veterinary Medicine for 6 years.  She joined Chestatee Animal Hospital in January 2006.  Deanna is married, her husband Jerry has been in the US Army for 24 years and  is now retired.  Deanna has 3 sisters and 2 brothers.  She enjoys fishing, hiking and drinking coffee with her friends.  She loves her pets / sons that include 4 cats, Shorty, Chester, Kiwi and Nugget.

  Patty was born and raised in Northern Indiana. She earned a degree in Psychology from IU, and worked in psychiatic hospitals  for 10 years. She moved to Georgia in 2003.  She then decided to work with the furry creatures of the world and was hired at Chestatee Animal Hospital in April 2007. She has 4 cats, Tiger, Lilly, Dixie and Tater and 1 dog Lacy.

• Lacey Brewer

  
  

  Lacey moved to Dahlonega in 1990. She is the daughter of Lloyd Brewer,our  Lumpkin County Animal Control Officer. Lacey joined Chestatee Animal Hospital in June 2008. She is our Assistant Receptionist. She answers the phone, which ables the receptionist to give uninterupted  attention to the clients. She enjoys going to concerts, riding motorcyles and playing with her dogs. She is concidering a career in veterinary medicine, as a Vet Tech.

• Ms. Brandy Ralston

  
  

  Brandy Ralston was born and raised in Georgia and has lived in the Dawsonville area for 15 years.  She has worked with animals for 2 1/2 years and is currently our kennel attendant and Veterinary assistant.  Brandy joined Chestatee Animal Hospital in March 2006.  She is married and has two daughters. She has a passion for Art which includes photography, and pottery.  Brandy loves animals and has 4 dogs and 1 cat.

  Bessie joined Chestatee Animal Hospital with 6 years of Veterinary Animal care experience. She is  married and has 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. She's the loving owner of dogs and cats. Bessie says " Working with animals are very fulfilling and it makes my heart and mind feel good".

  Suzanne Bowcock was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She has worked as a Professional Groomer for over 17 years and was highly recommended! She recently moved to the Cleveland area and joined Chestatee Animal Hospital in March 2006. Suzanne is engaged and has 2 brothers, 1 niece and 1 nephew. She enjoys outdoor activities including riding her HD motorcycle, gardening, and snow skiing. Her loving pets include 2 cats. .

  Judy Mingledroff was born in North Carolina and raised in Georgia. She worked at a horse stable for many years and has been in the Veterinary business for over 2 years, joining Chestatee Animal Hospital in March 2006. Judy's job discription is assisting with receptioning, Veterinary assistance and kennel animal care. Judy is married and has 1 sister and 1 brother. She and her husband enjoy trailing riding and camping with their horses. Her loving pets consist of 5 horses, 6 cats, and 3 dogs.

  Wendy was born in Alaska, and moved to Gerogia in 2007. She joined Chestatee Animal Hospital in March 2008, with 4 years experience in Veterinay Medicine. Wendys family includes Eric her husband , her horse, bird, dog and fish.
